Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay Lands at Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay is prepared for lift-off with its newest restaurant opening Nov. 22, 2025 in the Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU). Located in Terminal 2, Concourse C, at Gate C18, travelers can get their hands on the best burger in town before flying to their destination.

This location was developed with Grove Bay Concessions (Grove Bay Crawford JV, LLC) and continues the brand’s expansion into non-traditional venues. RDU is the brand’s second airport venue, joining its restaurant at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

“RDU is a smart fit for our approach to airport dining. We focus on strong operations, quick service in tight footprints and partnerships that travelers recognize and trust – and Bobby’s Burgers checks every box as the best in class fast casual burger brand,” said Ignacio Garcia-Menocal, Co-CEO of Grove Bay Concessions. “Working with the team at RDU and our partners at Bobby’s Burgers, we’re excited to serve an unforgettable dining experience to guests moving through Terminal 2 and to be part of the airport’s growing lineup.”

Francesco Balli, the other Co-CEO of Grove Bay Concessions, added, “Our goal is to bring chef-driven quality and consistent hospitality to high-traffic terminals. Bobby’s Burgers gives us a compelling option for travelers who want great burgers, fries, shakes, or even a cocktail without slowing down. We’re proud to expand at RDU with a concept that fits the concourse, supports the airport’s vision for better food and beverage, and delivers for travelers as well as airport team members.”

The RDU opening brings a steady flow of travelers to Bobby’s Burgers while showcasing the brand’s streamlined footprint. The flexible 400 sq. ft. kitchen blueprint is built for airports, stadiums, casinos and other high-traffic sites. The team designed the space to ensure each section of the layout is built for speed, simplicity and throughput – without ever compromising the chef-grade quality and craftsmanship that define every menu item. While the concept is a fast casual service venue, RDU’s location also features a full bar with over 20 seats.

“Raleigh-Durham International Airport is a vital hub for the region, and we’re honored to be part of it,” said Michael McGill, president of Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay. “Our team is focused on serving up an Unbeatable Burger Experience for travelers on the go. If you’re passing through, stop in to get a taste of Bobby’s go-to order including our famous Bacon Crunchburger® paired with made-from-scratch Buttermilk Onion Rings and, of course, a spoon-bending Pistachio Milkshake.”

RDU will give many travelers their first taste of Bobby’s Burgers – especially those connecting through or traveling from cities without a neighborhood location. A second airport restaurant signals strong demand from travelers and from venue partners for Bobby’s Burgers menu and service approach. The success of the compact model supports the brand’s strategy to partner with operators specializing in transportation hubs.

“RDU is reimagining the airport dining experience by bringing unique concepts to our terminals that will surprise and delight our guests,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “Bobby’s Burgers fits the bill by providing guests with a high-quality meal from a renowned chef, and we are pleased to welcome them to RDU.”
