Whataburger to Open in Franklin, Tennessee

Whataburger is expanding its Williamson County offerings with a new location in Franklin. The burger brand opened its first location in Williamson County in Brentwood in May 2025.

City of Franklin shared on social media, “WHATAPOST: Wondering what’s going up next to Chuck E. Cheese at 3075 Mallory Lane in Cool Springs? It’s a Whataburger!”

This location will be a brand-new building; it was formerly a Fifth Third Bank location that has since been demolished. We have reached out to Whataburger to obtain more details about this location and to determine when it is expected to open. No information about the Franklin location is on the Whataburger website.

Whataburger opened in Brentwood at 5004 Maryland Way with a grand opening celebration where two guests in the drive-thru and the first guest in line for the dining room received free Whataburger for a year. Keep checking back here to see if the grand opening for Franklin will also have a giveaway.
